October 6-7 weekend is LA Children's Film Festival at LACMA

Head over to LACMA this weekend for Los Angeles International Film Festival 2013 

This year, it looks like all the children's films and shorts are free.  Admission is ticketless and first come, first served.  Below are descriptions of some of the films and animation shorts followed by the schedule. Don't miss the workshops if you can tear yourself away from the films.  While you are at LACMA, don't miss the ROCK and obtain your child's NEXTGEN membership which will allow one adult to enter free accompanying that child until that child is 18 :)  Don't miss the Metropolis II - vehicles move on weekends at these times:  S/Su: 10:30 am–11:30 am; 12:30–1:30 pm; 2:30–3:30 pm; 4:30–5:30 pm

The 8th annual Los Angeles International Children's Film Festival takes place October 5-7 2012 at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.  We will present more than 100 films from around the world - animation, live action and documentary, in the Bing Theater and Brown Auditorium. Screenings are free for everyone! You don't need a ticket, just show up at the theater!

Films will be screened simultaneously in the Bing Theater and Brown Auditorium. Pick up the film program schedule at the NexGen table located on the LA Times Central Court.
